Diamond is the hardest natural matter on earth. Diamonds are classified as Natural diamond, Synthetic Industrial Diamond and Thin Film Diamonds. Natural Diamonds
are further classified into four categories depending on the type and amount of impurities in them. They are The Type1a, The
Type1b, Type2a and Type2b. Type2a is the purest type of diamond and Type2b is the rarest type of diamond.
The price of the diamond is based on its cuts, clarity and colour.
The colour ranges from yellow, grey, brown, blue, pink, green, black and red. There are also colourless and transparent white
diamonds. The transparent ones are the purest form of diamonds.

diamonds. The largest is known as the Star of Africa.
